Offer Health and Safety Training for your employees. We offer CPR, First Aid, AED and several injury control modules on-site or at the Red Cross with courses ranging from 1 hour to all day.

Purchase First Aid Kits for your company, employees, customers or family members. Be prepared for an emergency at work, home, in your car, boat, camper, snowmobile...anywhere! Show you care about emergency preparedenss by giving the gift that could save a life.

Give your employees time off to volunteer. There are many ways that volunteers help carry out our mission at the Goodhue County Chapter. While some things can be done from home, most of our projects require availability during the traditional nine-to-five workday. Also, in the event of a large disaster requiring Red Cross shelters, we need volunteers for 8-hour shifts around-the-clock for a few days or for two or three week assignments. By giving your employees some time off to assist in these ways, you'll be making a huge contribution to the capacity of the Chapter to respond when needed. Contact our chapter office at (651)388-9166 for more ideas.

Help our donated dollars go further with a discount on your goods or services. Like many other organizations, we purchase products and services from local businesses to keep our office running. We feel it is important to support our local economy, however, we're also very grateful for discounts that allow our donated dollars to go further. Even a 10% or 20% discount helps our budget a great deal!

Honor our voucher system. When we give financial assistance to disaster clients, it is done with vouchers written directly to the vendor. If you have ever been a vendor on the receiving end of one of these vouchers, thank you for accepting it, completing it in full, and re-submitting it for payment. This system ensures that our financial assistance goes for the purpose for which it was intended.

Respond favorably when we ask for financial support. There are several times each year that we ask businesses for sponsorship of a special event or an outright gift of cash to support our services. Thank you for helping strengthen our chapter with your financial and in-kind support!
