Length, Cost, and Certification Varies
The American Red Cross Blended Learning First Aid/CPR/AED Program combines online (Web-based) lessons with traditional instructor-led training. Students complete the knowledge portion online at their own pace and convenience and then participate in an abbreviated instructor-led skills session where they practice and demonstrate their skills. Standard First Aid |

(4 hours) $40 Certificate: First Aid - 3 years
Participants will learn skills necessary to recognize and provide basic First Aid care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical care arrives. Program includes victim assessment, care for wounds, bone and soft tissue injuries, head and spinal injuries, burns, and heat and cold emergencies. Includes participant booklet and laminated First Aid skills card. |

Adult CPR/AED |

(4 hours) $40 Certificate: Adult CPR/AED - 1 year
Participants will learn to recognize and respond to respiratory emergencies, choking, and cardiac emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive. Instruction includes Adult CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. Course includes participant booklet and laminated skills card. |

Infant and Child CPR |

(4 hours) $40 Certificate: Infant & Child CPR - 1 year
Designed for parents, child care workers, and others who care for young children, this course teaches skills for avoiding hazards and responding to emergencies. Participants learn to recognize and respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for children and infants. Course includes participant booklet and laminated skills card. |

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer |

(8 hours) $90 Certificate: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer - 1 or 2 years, depending on the certification needed
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer training includes: responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants; using an AED on an adult and child victim of cardiac arrest; and using personal protective equipment to stop bloodborne pathogens and other diseases from spreading. Course includes participant book.
The CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification will be available in 3 forms:
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider- a 2 year certification for nursing students, dental hygienists, and other healthcare professionals
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer for Lifeguards - a 1 year certification
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer with a standard 1 year certification
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer with First Aid Basics with a standard 1 year certification $105 |

Bloodborne Pathogens: Preventing Disease Transmission |

(2 hours) $20 Certificate: Bloodborne Pathogens - 1 year
This course helps your organization comply with the training component of OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. Employees learn about managing a potential exposure to an infectious disease in the workplace, including how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to prevent exposures, and what to do if exposed to infectious materials. Course includes a Bloodborne Pathogen manual. |
