How does online "Blended Learning" work?
Stage 1 - Online Training Each course participant completes online training and written testing from any computer that meets the minimum operating system requirements and has high-speed internet access.
Stage 2 - Skills Session Participant attends a skill session at the Red Cross chapter. With our DVD training video, and under the guidance of a certified Red Cross instructor, the participant practices their skills and is evaluated by the instructor.
NOTE: Sign up as early as you like, but you should allow two weeks in advance of each skills session to complete online portion of your training. To participate in a skills session you must sign up on one of our "recertification" class days.
